I'm a 38 year old guy from Stockholm, Sweden.
It took me a lot of time before I found a way to address the creativity that I always new I had in me, but had so much trouble to get out.
I've tried to draw and write, I even tried to sing but it never felt right, never felt natural. But with photography i does. Capturing whatever, whenever. I tend to mostly shoot Scapes, weather its land, water, city or winter I tend to capture the scenes around me, trying to document it, the way I see them. I'm still in the beginning of my photographical journey that I hope will take me to a lot of amazing places and give me opportunity to meet interesting people.
I hope I will continue this Journey as long as I breathe...
"Composition is fortunately not an exact science, or art would be the domain of engineers. Rather, it is a subtle blend of classic established rules, specific properties of your subject and, last but not least, your own artistic sensibility." - Laurent Martres

I’ve lived in Stockholm for most of my 38 years, been riding the subway as long as I can remember. But I have never really looked at the stations i’ve past trough the years. Its not until recently I’ve been aware of its rough beauty. Last year I decided that it was time to start a new personal project, where I would go from station to station and try to find stations that looked interesting to me and try and document them. Often late at night or early in the morning to try and get the stations completely empty, which takes a lot of patience, cause well there are a few people using the subway here in Stockholm regardless of what the clock is.
The Subway system containing 100 stations who are full of beautiful architecture and has been decorated with sculptures, mosaics, paintings, installations, engravings and reliefs by over 150 artists.
It has taken me a few months to get these shots. Its an ongoing series so I will continue to fill this post with more stations as time goes by. Far from every station got something special about them so I wont be taking shots of all stations, but so far Im up to like 20 stations. To be continued.
In the beginning of October we decided to take a weekend trip to the well known Åre. It is mostly a know ski resort in the wintertime but it is equally or not even more beautiful in the summer time. We spent 4 days up there, chasing waterfalls and beautiful scenery which wasn’t hard to find. We had some misty mornings as well. The waterfall below is called Ristafallet and is one of the biggest in Sweden.
Its been a really good year. I became a father for the first time this autumn to our little boy Pelle.
I did two of my dream trips this year, first I went to Hawaii/NY with my girlfriend (who became my fiancée in Hawaii). And in the summertime I went both to Turkey and to Iceland for the first time. Iceland which really was a dream come true…
And I also took a huge step and decided to go back to the school bench to become a professional Image retoucher/ Post processor for 2 years.
So this year really has been better then the 35 earlier once.
Tack boys! Detta tycker jag att vi gör om.
Last tuesday 13-09-24 we finally got to see our son for the first time. It was magical to hear and see him for the first time. Everything went well and we are two very proud parents to a very small but cute baby boy.
Had the camera with me the 3-4 days we stayed at the hospital and here are some of the pics from the most amazing days of my life so far. Nothing beats the birth of your very own child. Hard to put in words but Wow!
After Kirkjufell I Planned to go to Landmannalaugar and stay there over night before heading back to the Airport. Went through Thengvillir national park and made a stop at the fall called Öxararfoss. Then I planned to stop by the mighty Gullfoss, but it was a real misty day and the rain fell as usual, so I didn’t even bother to take out the camera when I stood at the fall. I got to the Landmannalaugar from the north, really glad I had a Jeep due to the bumpy road. Hiked up one mountain near the base camp looking at the ryolite coloured mountain, it really is a sight!
Due to head ache I decided to cut my hiking short at the landmannalaugar and decided to try and get a hotel room in Reykjavik instead. Looking out the hotel window at sunset the colours was everywhere, just my luck. Didn’t have any strength to get my gear and head out so I closed the drapes and went to bed instead. Last day I spoiled my body with a trip to the Blue lagoon before checking in to my last hotel stay in Keflavik.
All in all a great trip, of course I would have liked to have some better weather for sure, but this is Iceland and I knew that it could be this way. I will certainly go back in a few years time, cause it is a real mecka for those who likes waterfalls and dramatic landscapes.
