In the beginning of October we decided to take a weekend trip to the well known Åre. It is mostly a know ski resort in the wintertime but it is equally or not even more beautiful in the summer time. We spent 4 days up there, chasing waterfalls and beautiful scenery which wasn’t hard to find. We had some misty mornings as well. The waterfall below is called Ristafallet and is one of the biggest in Sweden.

Best pics of the year.
Its been a really good year. I became a father for the first time this autumn to our little boy Pelle.
I did two of my dream trips this year, first I went to Hawaii/NY with my girlfriend (who became my fiancée in Hawaii). And in the summertime I went both to Turkey and to Iceland for the first time. Iceland which really was a dream come true…
And I also took a huge step and decided to go back to the school bench to become a professional Image retoucher/ Post processor for 2 years.
So this year really has been better then the 35 earlier once.
Here is the year in pictures:

Ivögården
Min gode vän Anders och hans vackra fästmö Pernilla gifte sig förra helgen. Vädret blandade och gav denna dag, först strålande sol sedan molnigt under före-vigseln bilderna innan solen sprack upp lagom till vigseln, för att sedan tokregna strax efter att vigseln var avslutat. En dag/kväll fylld med värme och kärlek vilket jag hoppas syns på bilderna under som är tagna av mig och min fästmö Josefin.
Stort lycka till till er båda framöver!
Kram

Iceland Part V (July 22-23)
After Kirkjufell I Planned to go to Landmannalaugar and stay there over night before heading back to the Airport. Went through Thengvillir national park and made a stop at the fall called Öxararfoss. Then I planned to stop by the mighty Gullfoss, but it was a real misty day and the rain fell as usual, so I didn’t even bother to take out the camera when I stood at the fall. I got to the Landmannalaugar from the north, really glad I had a Jeep due to the bumpy road. Hiked up one mountain near the base camp looking at the ryolite coloured mountain, it really is a sight!
Due to head ache I decided to cut my hiking short at the landmannalaugar and decided to try and get a hotel room in Reykjavik instead. Looking out the hotel window at sunset the colours was everywhere, just my luck. Didn’t have any strength to get my gear and head out so I closed the drapes and went to bed instead. Last day I spoiled my body with a trip to the Blue lagoon before checking in to my last hotel stay in Keflavik.
All in all a great trip, of course I would have liked to have some better weather for sure, but this is Iceland and I knew that it could be this way. I will certainly go back in a few years time, cause it is a real mecka for those who likes waterfalls and dramatic landscapes.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers

Iceland Part IV (July 20-21)
Had two days and one night at Kirkjufell. Sounding as a broken record the weather continued to be less then ideal, but you have to let that go and just try and do the best of the situation. Im glad that I took the detour out to snaellfellnes. It has a really great potential when it comes to landscape photography and I will sure be back next time, whenever that is.
Iceland Part I (July 14-15)
Here are some of the shots I took on my 12 day long trip to Iceland this past summer. I went there myself, packed with my gear and rented a car who took me 255 swedish miles around the Island.
The first 2 days I went to the mythical black beach of Vik in Myrdal in the very south of Iceland. The weather was as it would turn out pretty bad the whole trip, but really bad the first few days. Here are some of the pictures I took the first two days in Vik, at Skogafoss and the famous Jökulsarlon.
